How do I contact support?+
Email support@rockhoundr.com with a short note about the issue. If it is tied to a map spot, include the location name or coordinates so we can find it faster.
What can RockHoundR help me do?+
RockHoundR helps you find rockhounding spots, filter places by material, check land and geology details, review weather, and save locations for future field days.
Can I use RockHoundR to check if collecting is allowed?+
Use the land and collecting guidance in the app as a starting point before a trip. Rules can change by agency, season, claim, road, and local office, so always confirm before collecting.
A spot, road, or map detail looks wrong. What should I send?+
Send the spot name, coordinates, what looks wrong, and a screenshot if you have one. Reports from the field help us clean up rockhounding locations and map details.
Can I keep my own rockhounding spots private?+
Yes. You can save your own places, notes, favorites, and distance lines for planning. Private spots are for your account and are not posted publicly by default.
How do I manage billing or cancel a subscription?+
Subscriptions are handled by the App Store or Google Play. Open your Apple or Google account subscriptions to change, cancel, or review billing.
The app is slow, stuck, or not loading. What should I try first?+
Update RockHoundR, close and reopen the app, and check your connection. If it still fails, email support with your device model, app version, and what you were doing when it happened.
How do I delete my account?+
Go to Profile > Settings > Delete Account and follow the confirmation steps.
