About Goldstream River Panning Reserve

Provincial panning reserve of 289 ha on the Goldstream River, north of Revelstoke. The gold here comes as coarse grains and nuggets near bedrock and as fine colours in the gravel. You do not need a Free Miner Certificate. Use a hand pan and hand shovel only: no metal detectors, sluices or dredges. The west end of the reserve is private land on the province's map.
