About Schickler Fluorite Occurrence

One of two sites near Wilberforce where the Municipality of Highlands East owns the mineral rights and lets the public collect at no charge. The old rock piles hold fluorite in white calcite, with apatite, scapolite and feldspar. Each adult has to fill in the waiver and permission form on the municipal website first. Allow three business days. The signed form comes back with directions and is valid for two days in a row.
