Access note: Historic gold rush town at the end of Highway 26, east of Quesnel. At the Eldorado Gold Panning shop in town you learn to pan and take home the gold you find. The main season runs from late May to mid September. Panning is paid at the shop, so check Barkerville's site for admission and current prices.
