Town beach at the end of Howe Street in Marathon, with more than two kilometres of cobbles on Lake Superior. Agates and quartz are reported among them. The Town of Marathon asks visitors to leave the rocks for others to enjoy, so look and photograph but do not take any home. The trail down from the parking area is steep and the cobbles are hard to walk on, so wear sturdy shoes.
