About Lytton Panning Reserve (Site 2)

Provincial panning reserve of 48 ha on the Fraser River channel beside the village of Lytton. The river gravels here also carry jade boulders and pebbles of agate, garnet and jasper. You do not need a Free Miner Certificate. Use a hand pan and hand shovel only: no metal detectors, sluices or dredges.
